Professional Feed - Compliance
While home users can access a limited vulnerability feed at no cost, commercial organizations which use the Nessus vulnerability scanner must purchase a ProfessionalFeed subscription to scan their network, obtain support, download updates to their database of vulnerability checks and access compliance auditing templates.
This professional feed provides Policy Compliance Checks - to make sure every host on your network complies with your local security policy.
It will enable the Nessus scanner to conduct operating system, application and SQL database configuration audits against CERT, CIS, DISA STIGs, GLBA, HIPAA, NIST SCAP FDCC, NSA and PCI standards.
It will also enable the Nessus scanner to conduct content audits such as adult content, personally identifiable information (credit cards, SSN, etc.) corporate spreadsheets and many others.
The Professional feed also provides access to a Nessus Virtual Appliance - a download of a Nessus 3 VMware Virtual Appliance, which works with VMware ESX, Server, Workstation and Fusion.
Access to operational and technical assistance from experienced support staff with regards to the deployment and use of their scanners, as well as the writing of audit policies for the compliance checks or content checks is also availble
Note for SC3 Security Centre users - the Professional Feed is included in the SC3 Annual Support and Maintenance fee. This feed it automatically download and distributed to all attached Nessus scanners.

Professional Feed subscriptions can also be purchased from TelcoSI. They cost US$1200+handling - we offer them in a number of local currencies and price them at US$1200 converted to the local currency (in order to provide ourselves with a hedge against currency risk during your decision making process and payment cycle we use the lowest exchange rate fromt he previous 90 days when performing the conversion) plus a $100 handling fee to cover the overheads of the quote>PO>Invoice>Collection>Administration cycle.
